After biking in Sonoma’s wine country, we loved cooling off in the pool at Madrona Manor. Built in 1881, the romantic inn is perhaps the best B&B in the area.
The tiny Virgin statue has an impressive home – the Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan. Each October, a million people welcome her back after her five-month tour.
If in Los Cabos, check out the Wirikuta Desert Botanical Garden. It’s home to over 1 million plants, with lots of cacti from around the world.
Old “Gassy Jack” would be proud. Since he opened a saloon in 1867 in Gastown, Vancouver, the area has grown to become the city’s trendiest neighborhood!
Jacques Cousteau called the living coral reef at Cabo Pulmo “the aquarium of the world.” We’ve taken several tours in Cabo Pulmo National Park and love its secluded wilderness.
