Windstar Cruises has two drink packages. But the best package is their All-In Package (drinks, gratuities and WiFi). It’s worth it if you like a pool cocktail, pre-dinner drink and wine with dinner. But it’s not for you if you’ll only have one or two glasses of wine a day.
House wine and beer are free on Viking Cruises at lunch and dinner. Nice! So should you buy the upgraded drinks package for unlimited cocktails and premium wine?
Holland America offers three different “Sommelier Suite” wine packages. They’ll save you up to 25%. HAL also offers decent wines by the glass, as well as 100+ wines by the bottle.
If you like your cocktails and wine (and don’t want to stress about your bill), a Holland America beverage package could save you money on your next HAL cruise.
There’s no actual drinks package on Star Clippers’ cruises. But liquor is reasonably priced. Bring your water bottle to fill up at the Tropical Bar.
