“My life is shaped by the urgent need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport.”
~ Steve McCurry
We started our “Snapshot Stories” series by featuring just a couple or so travel photos of ours, accompanied by a few words. Short. Snappy. A breezy read. That was the original idea.
But since launching this travel blog back in 2012, we’ve come across so many beautiful photos by talented photographers (both hobbyists and pros) – photos that we really wanted to share here. So now in our “Snapshot Stories,” we feature pics by guest contributors too.
The photographers and contributors who take the photos here also share the tale behind the photo they snapped, taking you deeper into the picture and making it more meaningful…
On a French Polynesian cruise, Tahitian dancers came onboard. This tiny girl in a grass skirt and flower lei captured our hearts with her adorable cuteness.
We recently stayed at a gem of a hotel in Zihuatanejo that you absolutely must discover. La Casa Que Canta means “the house that sings.”
