The glittering gold Shwesandaw Pagoda in Pyay, Myanmar, is even bigger than Yangon’s famous Shwedagon Pagoda. It’s less touristy too.
The jade-green color popped, catching our eye. We just had to take a closer peek. It looked like a museum – an interesting one. Maybe it would be air-conditioned inside?
We’re rockin’-and-rollin’ in a psychedelic trishaw in Malacca, Malaysia. Ruby red, it sports plastic roses and waving pink feathers. (Subliminal message – “Hire me!”)

Built in 1488, the Kwan Tai Temple is the oldest temple in the quaint Tai O fishing village. Inside, devotees burn incense and pray for prosperous fishing and farming harvests.
The tiny Virgin statue has an impressive home – the Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan. Each October, a million people welcome her back after her five-month tour.
If in Los Cabos, check out the Wirikuta Desert Botanical Garden. It’s home to over 1 million plants, with lots of cacti from around the world.
